Soldiers from across the buffer zone have been in training for months in preparation for the UN military skills competition.

Argentinian, Slovakian, Hungarian and British personnel joined their international partners at the United Nations Protected Area in Nicosia.

Sector 4, made up of Slovakians, were the team to beat.
