Five soldiers have been commended for their quick thinking after using a credit card to help save the life a man who had been stabbed in Canada earlier this year.
The soldiers from 4 Logistic Support Regiment were on a break from training when they found the man who had been attacked outside a bar in Calgary.
They placed a credit card over a stab wound to prevent his lung collapsing.
They received the Exceptional Recognition Award on behalf on Calgary’s Chief of Police.
