The Ministry of Defence has issued a guide to help soldiers and their partners and families adapt to family life again.

Entitled "A Guide for the Families of Regular Deployed Army Personnel", it tackles the issues of re-establishing a healthy relationship and intimacy.

The effects of months of combat can take their toll and make homecoming a challenging time for relationships. Returning home requires much from both sides.

Dr Rob Hicks has been discussing the subject on British Forces News. Click on the link to see a copy of the new guide.
