An investigation is underway after a helicopter crash in Afghanistan that has killed six NATO personnel. The Ministry of Defence says none of the dead are British.
A military spokesman has told Forces News that no insurgent activity had been reported in the area where the aircraft came down.
ISAF is not disclosing the nationalities of those killed and NATO says no further details will be released until the families of those on board are informed.
The crash happened on the same day that at least seven civilians died in a suicide attack at Kandahar Airport.
Last August 30 soldiers - most of them US Navy SEAL commandos - were killed when their helicopter crashed in eastern Afghanistan. Officials, witnesses and the Taliban have said it was shot down by insurgents during a combat mission.
