The Deputy Prime Minister has paid tribute to the soldiers who died over the summer as a result of the conflict in Afghanistan.
Nick Clegg was standing in for the Prime Minister, David Cameron, and listed the twelve servicemen who died while Parliament was in recess. He said each one of the men was selfless and heroic, and they had given their lives for the safety of the British people.
