If you are accommodated at one of the ‘big 4’ camps in southern Afghanistan then you have the following BFBS radio and TV services available to you.

Television:

There are transmitters at these camps that enable you to receive a 10 channels digital TV service, similar to ‘Freeview’ in the UK. To receive this service you will require the appropriate UK Standard DVB-T equipment, as indicated by the pink ‘Digital Tick’. Radio:

At these camps there are also 3 FM radio services available, BFBS Afghanistan, BFBS UK and BFBS Gurkha.
