OP HERRICK - BFBS TV for 'Official' Unit & Command Viewing

This website has expanded to allow members of the British Armed Forces to purchase digital 'Freeview' TV equipment and BFBS satellite TV systems for TV Viewing areas that may not be provided for under the current J1 Operational Welfare Package.

This could be for British Forces personnel on Loan Service or secondment, personnel whose numbers or location do not meet the current OWP criteria, TV installations in communal office areas or to allow units to augment their existing TV Welfare provision using their own unit funds.

To view the TV Kits page which has been designed to make the purchase of equipment for these areas easy you will need to register on this site as a member of the British Forces by going to the 'Unit Welfare TV Kits' page and clicking 'Create New Account' or you can 'Log in' to your existing account.

BFBS TV for 'Entitled Viewers' not in Afghanistan

This website will also allow members of the British Armed Forces stationed elsewhere overseas to purchase their own BFBS satellite receiver. BFBS will supply the satellite receiver, and it will be the responsibility of the viewer to pay a local satellite installer to provide and install the necessary satellite dish. BFBS will provide all the necessary information and guides to allow tghis to happen.

The definition of 'Entitled Viewers' is very specific, if you are unsure if you are 'entitled' or not, please read this document.

To purchase your BFBS satellite receiver you will need to register on this site as a member of the British Forces by going to 'Unit Welfare TV Kits' page and clicking 'Create New Account' or you can 'Log in' to your existing account.

This internet shop and website is not for use by the general public.  Items ordered will only be delivered to British Military Bases in Op Herrick or to certain BFPO addresses.
